I’d be looking around for a job at another company for sure .
if they can’t keep up with getting the trucks loaded , and keep up with the paperwork , wait till the DOT does an audit of their records . Or one of the drivers is involved in even a minor accident and the DOT or a lawyer gets involved . It won’t be pretty .
A good manager doesn’t need to have a CDL or Driving experience , although that might help, but they just need to understand that this is a highly regulated industry and when hauling haz mat tanker cargo, you have to stay on top of every kind of paperwork, every inspection , etc
I bet they are not havingthe annual DOT inspections done on the trucks and trailer either , or the regular maintenance .
