Hello boys I’m one of those good ole company dudes that’s thinking about getting in the game with the big boys. I’m currently at Estes and make 100K+ easily without really working winters. I planned one paying one more car off then jumping out there.
The car should be paid off in 2 years so the only major bill will be mortgage. No kids, not married, IDGAF about running the road (I did that at marten transport for 19 months mostly) and have excellent credit. (Literally spotless)
I plan on running a reefer given the fact I like the downtime sometimes and know a bunch of the lanes still from working at marten. What are you guys thoughts? Eventho I have a great career at Estes (been here 5 years Oct. 3), I still try to study and learn about other companies etc. Any advice appreciated.
