Just because it’s legal for the general population of adults doesn’t mean that it’s legal for CDL drivers. And even if it is legal for drivers it won’t necessarily be accepted by trucking companies and their insurance companies.
From a moral standpoint it’s good that you don’t drive when you’re high. I give you props for that.
But from a legal, employment, and insurance standpoint that really doesn’t matter because they don’t have the ability to quantify the amount of THC in your system at a given point in time, like they can do with alcohol using an Intoxilyzer. So, if THC has been introduced into your system at any time recent enough to show up on a test, you could be SOL even if you’re always sober when you’re driving.
