I’ve been retired for a number of years, but my rule of thumb: Avoid Penske and driver staffing services except as last resorts as both are bottom feeders. Cardinal I have little knowledge of (saw their trucks everywhere) but I did work for Fresenius Medical Care for a number of years many years ago.
Fresenius specializes in Dialysis Supplies and equipment. FMC services clinics, hospitals and home patients. After listening to constant complaints from customers and my own disastrous experience with FMC (employee) and Penske (customer and employee), I can’t recommend either of them as a customer or as an employer. These employers aren’t unique as many major employers in America have fallen into the same ‘political-social ditch’.
Don’t pay any attention to me though as you may just be the perfect candidate. If your work history revolves around diversity-inclusion-equity, have a checkered history and/or little job experience, have low expectations, then these places may just be your nirvana.
I retired early on total disability, after hiring a worker’s comp law firm. I never would have made it to my prescribed retirement age otherwise.
