Any OTR drivers who don’t own a personal car? | TruckersReport.com Trucking Forum

I went nearly 10 years without a car because I could park my bobtail at our apartment complex.
Then they changed the rules and said no more truck parking, and I ended up needing a car.

There are some that park their bobtails, or even with a trailer along the street there. It is really a hazard and I won’t do it.

But, I must say…
It is nice to have a car again.
Dealing with Uber or a bus or rental is all too time consuming.

I don’t care about paying for insurance.
It is nice to simply get in my car and go when I get home, not to mention drive wherever during my home time without having to worry about schedules or calling for a ride both ways.
