Arguably one of the best (if not THE best) gigs in reefer…..is DOT Foods:
They have MORE THAN ONE facility not far from Peoria–so you could well be in luck.
Now, for the BAD news: because they are so good, they are also pretty picky.
Most applicants get turned away….for one reason or another.
They do hire beginning drivers….it just depends.
But in your case, I would try them, first.
