First and foremost, I want to thank Truckers report for this forum and say God Bless all of you Company Grunt Road Warriors …my hats off to you for your toughness and driving skills in this tough weather.. stay safe out there Brothers and Sisters. No load is worth your life or others..
Secondly I want to say that there are ALOT of REALLY good people at Schneider Phoenix and Schneider National and at alot of other companies. It just sucks for the good people who get stuck with these loud mouth, low class, trailer trash types at these quality places. I think they need to clean out the closet with these low class, high paid mutts.. Its an unbelievably despicable thing to see some of these mutts even being kept on salary ..let alone in positions of responsibility or authority. We handled that shizz quick in the military…they shaped up or got shipped out..but in Schneidet Phoenix.. they get trainer jobs
So, yeah I was pretty shocked after reading so many good reviews and quality ratings on Schneider… to see the sloppy raunchy crap conduct, dress decorum, and behaviors at the phoenix, oc..I found it to be reminiscent of the old trashy SALTY DOG loud mouth trucker movies I watched as a kid…NEVER thought I’d see that crap at a supposed 5 star type Forbes 500 modern logistics company…but just goes to show I guess.. you can dress a pig up in a suit.. but it’s still a pig…LOL..TRUTH HURTS sometimes.. This again, is only applicable to the phoenix oc with my experience there.
I did my research of companies before choosing and CAREFULLY selected Schneider after reading TOP NOTCH reviews on integrity of management and admin and their supposed respectful treatment of drivers and especially military veterans. Where they claim…YOURE NOT JUST A NUMBER (which is pretty funny, because the very first thing that was said to us in driver orientation .. was this :..” you guys will actually be known by your number from here on out”.)..LOL…should have been a sign to RUN right there…but nope…I decided to do the FULL TRAILER PARK TOUR..
So…yeah,, I was pretty surprised .after 1 week of orientation in Phoenix. Especially considering the supposed CORE VALUES they preached on Integrity, Respect,, etc…the sloppy, tacky conduct and trailer park speech I saw from the instruction staff could have made a sailor cringe.. very low rent conduct and speech to say the least.
One wise ### instructor who taught trailer door safety conduct and walked around in front of female students with his rear end underwear hanging out of his 1 foot long ripped ### pair of jeans (This was Schneider Phoenix Quality at its best..)..yup This ding a- ling actually turned his back on an unsecured trailer door and got slapped inside the trailer by the wind closing the door and locked himself inside a trailer in 120 degree heat outside(so that’s 160 inside a trailer)..YES..you heard that right ..(And this idiot actually had the brass to preach safety and walked around yelling disrespectful on being safer…. SMFH …Yep, my Truckers . ..this is the level of training that was taking place everyday for the thankfully short week I was there.
But wait It got better….Along with another loud mouth ex drunk, slob of a trainer doing overkill as well with the disrespectful yelling at drivers over petty shizz that another instructor told them to do… it took everything to hold back on a military grade tune up on these disrespectful mutts.
But here comes the kicker and the ultimate deal breaker for this 10 year War Vet…out of a group of 25 drivers, there were only 2 female drivers..if you could call them that…..seriously..scary (both with the manners, mouth and etiquette of top class trailer trash, jail bird tweeker champions….and both topping the scales at 300 pounds of burger King quality.. YES..TOP CLASS FIT STUDENTS HERE…)
Along with the only Female Trainer with a sour disposition about having to work at a company again instead if o/o….and a strong whiff of man hatred (PERFECT FIT OBVIOUSLY at PHOENIX SCHNEIDER)….and lucky for us ..she picked our orientation at Schneider to bless us…and passively vent her career misery …and just as luck would have it… GUESS WHICH MARRIED FATHER OF 5 GOT STUCK WITH THIS CHAMPION QUALITY TEAM of TRAILER PARK BAR MAIDENS…YEP …(..I swear..I could get forkin rained on in a storm shelter.).. Luck of the Irish I guess…
As you can well imagine….this shizz went over like a fart in a wetsuit ..and faster than a free weeny roast at the trailer park…me and 2 other fathers and veterans had enough of these Foul mouth trailer hags talking about their mattress exploits and doing unsafe acts on the rig and getting passing Evals while us male drivers were given petty scrutiny by the sour career, man hating female instructor …but I was the only one with the brass to request a team change.. and just like magic, I was switched to the team with the idiot who got locked in the trailer and after all of about 5 more miserable minutes of listening to this loud mouth mutt, I’d heard and seen enough to send me walking to the locker room and HR to turn in my Logbook and request a flight.
…Best day in the entire Orientation was the ride out…THANK GOD for early warning Intuition …and Veteran foresight …
Im thinking of ANYTHING but MEGA company driving..Think I’ll take my CDL elsewhere .. and bite the bullet and do some Hot Shotting maybe…ANYTHINGS BETTER than being a number under Trailer Trash.. Low Class Company Mutts..passing theirselves off as Top Company Pride, which should disgrace any self respecting CEO of a Forbes 500 Logistics Company…Right?..Right.
I’ve learned my lesson on trusting the Mega Sales pitches on TREATING DRIVERS RIGHT…its a joke and YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER at Schneider phoenix OC … hopefully I have helped steer some unwary Brothers and Sisters WELL CLEAR of the CRAP @ Schneider Phoenix OC…
