My original engine didn’t have jakes on it. I added them to the new engine. I read that ALL trucks were wired from the factory for jakes. I have the connections in the injector wiring harness. My issue is inside the cab. I have two connectors that are not plugged into anything. Maybe these are it. I dunno.
Freightliner was of no use due to the age of the truck. Their new software is only good till 2000 or so. They said some dealers have the old software. I called around with no such luck. I was able to get a few wiring schematics from a garage and he can wire them for me but I think I can do this myself. Plus I need to save money as some of you know my issues with this entire project.
So, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has any old books, schematics, notes, etc. I will attach what I was given.
The wiring is all yellow in color but is numbered and I can read the numbers. Wasn’t sure if these numbers are Freightliner or Detroit or both…..meaning they worked together on the engine specific wiring and made it easier for diagnosis.
I went through a few junkyard trucks but couldn’t trace the wiring very far and some had different numbers.
