Well the day has come.
My X15 with 500k miles decided it wanted to use 2-3 gallons of coolant a day.
Took it to a dealership in PA, they said they can’t work on deleted trucks.
Oh well, took it to a dealership across the border in Ohio. They took it in right away.
Bad news, I get a called 4 hours later asking if this truck was deleted. I said yes and they tell me they don’t work on deleted trucks AFTER they updated the ECM….. I’m furious. Now I have a truck they won’t work on, a truck that’s now 100% derated and no one in the area has actually figured out what’s wrong with it.
Guess I’m taking 2 trucks out there tomorrow, one to switch that truck out and one to tow the second back….. ugh, I have so many shop projects I needed to get done this week.
