I just wanted to make others aware of a recent change at this Walmart, and save you a bit of cash. The location in the past as recently as last September mind you, has allowed trucks to park overnight, despite signs posted that no overnight parking was allowed. This is something as we all know is quite common for Walmart locations and often get ignored by drivers.
There is a husband and wife team working now to enforce the no parking for vehicles greater than 1 ton policy, they won’t ask you to leave, rather they will wait until 2 or 3 am in the morning and boot your truck. The fee to remove the boot is a cool $250. The night I was booted there were 12 others in the lot netting the team a nice little profit for the evening. Please note this is not a complaint by me, I paid the fee and went on my way, I do however want to help this husband and wife team out by stopping others from parking there so they can get a good nights sleep at home instead of waiting around in a Walmart partaking lot – oh and hopefully find other employment that makes them work just a bit harder lol.
So parker beware, and please be sure to pass this onto others who run through the town on 59.
